RIGHT-HAND CUTTING: The flutes are cut to thread pipes and fittings in a clockwise direction for compatibility with standard right-hand threads.
PRECISION MACHINED: Each tap is precision machined with the appropriate taper, thread pitch and depth for consistent threading of pipes to NPT specifications.
CARBON STEEL MATERIAL: The carbon steel construction provides strength for threading pipes without breaking or wearing down prematurely from regular use.
TAP SIZES AVAILABLE: While this tap is 2 inches in size, other NPT tap sizes are also available for threading pipes from 1/8 inch to 2 inches as needed.
