The faceplate ring is screwed directly onto the workpiece. The internal rebate in the ring allows the workpiece to be securely clamped by the chuck's dovetail jaws. Ideal for attaching custom-made sanding discs or other auxiliary devices.
The face plate is nickel-plated which ensure that chucks and jaws are optimally protected against moisture and corrosion - ideal conditions for green wood turning.
It is compatible with the dovetail jaws on BMturning BMT80, BMT100, Super NOVA 2, NOVA G3, NOVA Titan III, Record Power SC3, SC4, Robert Sorby Patriot.
