Function: The kit allows you to connect your 4??OD (outside diameter) port or dust collection line to a 2-1/4??OD shop vac hose connector, port, or adapter. The flex cuff provides a perfectly sealed, airtight connection between your 4??OD port and the 4??OD of the reducer. The 2-1/4??OD shop vac components fit inside the smaller end of the reducer. The OD of the smaller end of the reducer can also be used to connect to a 2-1/2??ID (Inside diameter) flexible hose
