Applications: Creating, correct or clean the external threads. The 5/8-18 Die is ideal for creating or repairing threads in a variety of metals, including brass, copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, mild steel, A3 Steel, iron and aluminium.
Merits: Round die are suitable for general purpose threading. Sharp and hard tapping thread, good precision. Large capacity chip removal hole, smooth chip remove. Conical lock hole strong locking.
Precautions: During operation, align the conical hole in the die with the wrench's fastening screw. Insert the screw into the die's conical hole and tighten it. It needs to be reversed every 1/4~1/2 turn to facilitate the chip discharge from the chip hole. Please add an appropriate lubricant when tapping.
